Refunds & Returns Policy

Customer satisfaction is our top priority.

Damaged or Defective Goods

*We will replace  any damaged or defective items at no charge. Please phone or email us before sending the product back to us as some manufacturers prefer to deal directly with the customer.

Warranty claim for products under warranty:

*If you have to make a warranty claim, the goods has to be returned to us ( or a part can be supplied if just a part of the product is broken). 

*The charges to ship the product back to us will have to be paid by the customer. The cost of shipping the product back to you after it's fixed will be paid by us.

Warranty Claims on Breast Pumps:

Same policies applies to the breast pumps as well. The only parts that are covered under waranty are the Pump unit and the adapter ( Electrical parts). Any other parts that are damaged while usage will not be covered under warranty. 

Companies do not provide us spare pumps/motor units to replace on the spot. We have to send the pump back to the manufacturer to fix/replace the product. This can take up to FIVE working day. However most companies try to fix this as fast as they can. 

PLEASE CHOOSE BREAST PUMPS CAREFULLY AS REFUND/REPLACEMENT ( WITH OTHER BRAND) IS NOT OUR POLICY DUE TO HYGIENE REASONS. 

UNDER THE CONSUMER GUARANTEE ACT WE WILL TRY EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE(S) AS FAST AS WE CAN. 

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES A REFUND OR IMMEDIATE REPLACEMENT WILL BE GIVEN. REFUND WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED WHEN THE COMPANY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FIX/REPLACE THE PRODUCT WITHIN A RESONABLE TIMEFRAME.

Incorrect Items Ordered

We will issue a full refund for items ordered incorrectly by customers if notified within 7 days of receipt. The item(s) must be returned to yourchemist.co.nz unopened and in the original packaging. If the customer is at fault, postage costs will not be refunded. Please send the returnable items in registered mail as we don’t take any liabilities for lost/damaged items.

If yourchemist.co.nz has send an incorrect item, we will reimburse the courier cost and send you the correct item at no extra courier cost on arrival of the incorrect item.

Medicines:
Due to Medicine Health Regulations, medicines (anything that is classified in medicines act as medicine) items cannot be returned for refund.

When you return merchandise please ensure it is packed in a sturdy and secure way so as to avoid any damage in transit.

Cancellation of Order
A cancellation fee will apply where an order is cancelled after the order has been submitted. A one-off cancellation fee of NZ$10 will apply.
